The City of Hartshorne would like to extend its sincere gratitude to Pafford EMS for their generous donation of two Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs): one to be housed at City Hall and another portable AED for use in the Officer on Duty vehicle.
An AED is a medical device used to help those experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. It analyzes the heart’s rhythm and, if necessary, delivers an electrical shock—or defibrillation—to help the heart re-establish an effective rhythm. Quick access to an AED during a cardiac emergency can make the difference between life and death.
Pafford EMS continues to show its commitment to public safety and community well-being through actions like this. We are proud to partner with such a dedicated organization. These AEDs will be vital tools in protecting the lives of our employees, visitors to City Hall, and citizens throughout our community.
We are incredibly grateful for this donation and the continued support from Pafford EMS in making Hartshorne a safer place for everyone.
