City of Hartshorne Seeks Community Support for Independence Day Fireworks Display

As we approach another exciting Independence Day celebration, the City of Hartshorne is reaching out to our community for support in bringing back the beloved fireworks display that brings families, friends, and neighbors together for a truly unforgettable evening.

Last year, thanks to the generosity to Hartshorne and Haileyville Fire Departments and Hartshorne Police Departments raising the funds, we were able to celebrate our nation’s independence in spectacular fashion. This year, we are eager to continue this tradition, but we need your help to make it happen.

The City of Hartshorne is seeking donations to fund the cost of the fireworks display, safety measures, and associated event expenses. With the help of local businesses and residents, we aim to ensure that this year’s show will be just as exciting and memorable as last year’s. However, without your support, we will not be able to fully fund the fireworks display.

How You Can Help: 

Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. Every contribution, big or small, makes a significant impact on our ability to create an event that will bring joy to all members of the Hartshorne community. As a token of appreciation, businesses that contribute will be recognized in event promotions on the city website. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your company’s commitment to supporting local traditions and strengthening the sense of community that makes Hartshorne so special.

The fireworks display is tentatively scheduled to be held on July 5th, and it will coincide with the Blue Mountain Festival, a weekend filled with exciting events such as the Hartshorne Rodeo, Jack Fork Gang Event, Rodeo Parade, and Cornhole Tournament. The fireworks will be the perfect grand finale to this exciting weekend of celebration.
