Resident here are some options to dispose of the downed trees and brush from recent storms.
1. Curbside Bundle Pickup (Residential Only)
When: regular service day on Monday
Tree, shrub, and brush trimmings may be placed curbside if securely tied into bundles or placed in containers or bags. Each bundle, bag, or container must:
• Not exceed 4 feet in length
• Not exceed 35 pounds in weight
• Be easily handled by a single person
Place items near the street—within the public right-of-way, close to the roadway—but not in a manner that blocks traffic. This Republic Services may decline to collect improperly placed or unbundled materials.
2. Residents may also drop off brush at the Pittsburg County Commissioner District 1 Barn, located at 200 Craig Avenue, Haileyville, OK, Monday through Thursday during regular business hours, only when the gate is open. Please be respectful of the property and place brush only in the designated area. We appreciate Commissioner Rogers allowing residents to utilize the county brush drop-off.
