Water Shutoff Tonight and Where to Get Water

Water will be shut off at approximately 5:00 PM today, Wednesday, August 12, 2026, until morning.
This affects Hartshorne and all surrounding areas while crews repair a major water leak.
Drinking water (potable)
Emergency management is bringing in drinking water on the bank side of 11th Street, across from City Hall.
Water for flushing (non-potable)
Non-potable water is available at Hartshorne City Hall, 1101 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Please bring your own containers to fill.
This water is not safe to drink. Use it for flushing toilets and similar household use only.
When service returns
Please conserve water. Limiting use allows pressure to stabilize throughout the Adamson Water District service areas and helps ensure every customer has the opportunity to receive water.
Continue to follow the precautionary boil notice and boil water before use until further notice.
