Animal Services

The City of Hartshorne Animal Services' department provides the following assistance to all residents and is dedicated to helping protect the health, safety and welfare of both people and animals in our community. The City of Hartshorne also provides an animal shelter located at 815 Apollo Street, located in Hartshorne. At this time the hours of animal control are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday, excluding holidays. After hour calls will be directed to the officer on duty.

• Impoundments
• Adoptions
• Barking dog complaints
• Trapping nuisance wildlife and loose livestock
• Carcass removal
• Ordinance enforcement
