On April 10th, roll-off dumpsters will be delivered to the Armory South Parking Lot at 307 S. 10th Street for the Hartshorne Spring Clean-Up.
Please do NOT use the one next to the roll-up bay doors as this is being used for renovations. These dumpsters will be available until they are full, so please take advantage of this opportunity to dispose of unwanted items. However, please follow these important guidelines:
- Respect the service: We want to continue offering these clean-ups at various times throughout the year, so please follow the rules.
- Proper use of roll-offs: All trash must be placed inside the roll-off dumpsters. If trash is left outside the dumpsters, they will be picked up the next business day, regardless of whether they are full or not.
- For Hartshorne residents only: Roll-off dumpsters are exclusively for active water account holders in Hartshorne.
Non-Acceptable Items:
- Fluorescent tubes/bulbs
- Hazardous waste liquids
- Flammable waste
- Batteries
- Reactive waste
- Paint
- Medical waste
- Tires
- Radioactive waste
- Vehicles (cars, trucks, etc.)
- Septic waste
- Limbs
- Empty tanks (gas, oil, etc.)
- Used oils (motor, hydraulic, mineral, cutting, etc.)
- Barrels (unless empty and with both ends cut off)
- White goods (refrigerators, washers, dryers, etc.)
- Any electrical items (anything with a plug-in cord)
