Storm Siren Test-Today, February 21st 10am-Noon

Pittsburg County Emergency Management contacted city hall, that they will be testing the storm sirens sometime between 10am-Noon.

               REQUEST FOR BIDS:

BID PACKAGE PHASE 2 

The bid shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly marked and addressed as follows: The name and address of the bidder shall appear in the upper left-hand corner of the envelope. Bid Package Phase 2 and the description you are bidding shall be written on the cover of the envelope. The lower left-hand corner of the envelope shall be marked: BID FOR: Phase 2 the envelope shall be addressed in the lower right-hand corner to:

All sealed bids will be publicly opened, recorded, and studied for recommendations to the Owner. Bids received after the official stated time or more than ninety-six hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, before the official stated time set for the opening of bids, will not be accepted. No bids may be submitted, changed, or withdrawn after the time of the opening of the bids.  Pursuant to Title 61 “Oklahoma Public Competitive Bidding Act”. 

Bids are due to City Clerk Thursday March 7,2024 by 4 P.M. 

 

The Contractor will commence said work within ten (10) days from the date of the Notice of Award and perform same vigorously and continuously and complete the same within 90 consecutive calendar days thereafter. 

 

 

The City of Hartshorne reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formalities or irregularities in any bid, and to accept the bid or bids which seem most advantageous to the City of Hartshorne. 

 

Bid closing date: Thursday March 7,2024 

Jobsite visits can be arranged through The City of Hartshorne City Clerk. 

 

Bid Package PHASE 2. Work includes metal framing, sheet metal work and trim of Fascia, Z-purlin, soffit & trim, removal of Concrete Block section of wall and replacement, removal of window and replacement with 8” cinder block, overhead door remove and replacement, walk in door remove and replacement, window remove and replacement, prepping surfaces for sealing and exterior paint. 

 

 

 

Phase 2 

  1. sheet metal work and trim of Fascia and soffit including all trim. 
  1. Overhead Doors, walk in doors and windows. 
  1. Remove concrete block section and replace. 
  1. Prep surfaces for sealing and Painting Concrete Blocks and its entirety, also metal framing on doors to be prepped and painted as well. 

Water Pressure Update

February 15, 2024

The low water pressure was caused by malfunctioning regulators that control the pressure. These are temporarily repaired as we wait on parts to arrive. Water pressure should be back to normal flow in the next few hours. As water pressure is rising, this did cause some leaks. PWA is currently working to repair leaks, please avoid North 11th street at this time.  If you see the City Utility trucks parked in the road please avoid that route.  If you see any water leaks in your area please call 918-297-2544 ext. 8 and leave a message.
