Hartshorne, March 4, 2025
The Hartshorne Fire Department is pleased to announce the addition of two new fire trucks, made possible by funding from Pittsburg County. This investment will enhance the city’s emergency response capabilities and improve public safety for residents.
The new fire trucks are equipped with advanced firefighting technology and are designed to better serve the community’s growing needs. The vehicles will allow the department to respond more efficiently to fires, rescues, and other emergencies.
This acquisition underscores the county’s commitment to improving public safety by ensuring our local fire departments are equipped with the necessary resources to protect residents. The new fire trucks will play a critical role in increasing response times and operational effectiveness for the fire department.
Fire Chief Gerry Barone unveiled the trucks at a recent city council meeting on February 25, 2025.
